Offer your choir, orchestra, and band students an opportunity to perform at the Presidential Inauguration Music Festival in Washington, D.C. January 19-22, 2017.   We have arranged an educational performance trip to this historic event so that students can perform and witness history during one amazing weekend.

During this 4 day trip, students will take the stage with student groups from across the United States.  They will perform in a professionally adjudicated music festival, at an amazing venue, just minutes from our nation’s capital. Students will also experience the events surrounding the Presidential inauguration and explore numerous museums and sites related to American history and culture.  

This cost for this  tour includes participation in the music festival,  meals, local transportation, airfare (if required) hotel accommodations, full time tour director, night security, Presidential Inauguration student celebration, and all attractions listed in the itinerary below.   Please contact us with your departure location for a free quote on this tour.  *All groups will be required to submit recording material for approval to participate. 

DAY 1 – Thursday

• Arrive in Washington, D.C.
• Free time exploring the National Mall area
• Tour the National Monuments and Memorials- Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Dr. MLK Jr. Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, World War 2 Memorial, and more!
• Visit the Newseum
• Dinner
• Check-in to hotel

DAY 2 – Friday

• Breakfast at hotel
• Arrive at the National Mall for the Inauguration Events:

Oath of Office
Presidential Address
Lunch and Free time near the National Mall
Witness the Inaugural Parade

• Return to hotel to change and relax
• Attend CE’s Inauguration Dinner and Social Celebration
• Return to hotel

DAY 3 – Saturday

• Breakfast at hotel
• Perform at CE’s 2017 Presidential Inauguration Music festival
• Lunch
• Free time to visit the Smithsonian Museums: Air and Space Museum, Museum of Natural History, Museum of American History, National Gallery of Art, and more.
• Visit the International Spy Museum
• Dinner
• Return to hotel

DAY 4 – Sunday

• Breakfast at hotel
• Visit the U.S. Holocaust Museum
• Lunch
• Visit Arlington National Cemetery (departure time permitting)
• Return trip home
